Candidates should have completed NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and be a car owner/driver.Job Description SummaryThe ongoing field supervision of a growing team of care workers. Plus, ensuring that client requirements are met whilst maintaining compliance of care and nursing standards in accordance with AHG and Local Authorities policies and procedures and Contract specification.The day-to-day operational support to the Branch Network, assisting with the running of clients in their area. To ensure that a skilled workforce is in place and they are able to deliver safe quality care to all clients. Working as an effective team member by taking responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the day-to-day operational & social care provided to service users.To adhere to the Allied Healthcare Group and Local Authorities policies and procedures including Contract specification.Operational Management and Business DevelopmentTo ensure that the service user receives the appropriate care package and that continuity of care is a priority.To provide telephone support to service users and care staff and where necessary, to work as a \"hands on\" carer.To assist the Branch Manager in auditing the standard of service delivery to service users by:Conducting spot checks and supervisions. Client satisfaction questionnaires. Attending review meetings with client / family / local authority / health personnel as required. Creating and updating client care plans in accordance with AHG and Local Authority policies and procedures.
