We are currently recruiting for an interim Cost Accountant to join our client based in Flintshire. Our client requires a temporary cost accountant to join their Finance Department to cover a period of illness (2-3 months)
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a computer based product costing system for a company with a complex product structure and annual turnover in excess of £45 million.
- Analyse margins by product and by customer
- Liaise with Development, Purchasing, and Sales on product price changes
- Maintain Excel spreadsheets used for stock valuation
- Assist in valuation of monthly stock take
To apply for this role you will need to meet the following criteria:- Solid experience working as a cost accountant within a finance department
- Cost accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Confident and professional communication skills
- Ability to work to work in a detailed and accurate manner
- You must be proficient using Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Radius would be an advantage
