We are currently looking to appoint a Disability Analyst Nurse to work as part of an established organisation providing services to a government body.
Based from a local regional office location you will provide assessments and examinations for individuals who may have a wide range of different physical and mental health disabilities. You will be required to cover a localised area travelling to dedicated clinics to provide on-site assessments and write reports relating to customers who claim a variety of benefits.
You will be required to:
Undertake examinations and assessments to support decision making in the assessment of disability and incapacity.
Use IT Software
Provide comprehensive and detailed reports following each client assessment
To work to time frames and targets and work largely unsupervised on a day-to-day basis
Travel will be required to perform assessments within a maximum 90 minute radius of your base office and reports will be submitted in accordance to protocol and guidelines.
You must be a Registered Nurse and have at least three years post graduate experience. Experience gained within A&E, District, Practice or Custody Nursing and being familiar to working towards targets would be beneficial.
