Job Description
Buyer/Scheduler
This is a KEY position for a driven Buyer/Scheduler to join and develop with an industry leading organisation. You will work closely with the senior buyer to support the operational and strategic objectives of both purchasing and the business stream. You will be required to select and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the most cost effective sources of supply at the lowest total cost of acquisition. Other responsibilities include: scheduling the suppliers deliveries in line with ERP to suit the operational requirements of the business. Developing supplier improvements plans to drive improvement against KPI\'s of quality, delivery and cost and identify instances of supplier non performance. You will need to have experience of working with ERP systems along with supply base knowledge and at least 2 years experience of working in a purchasing role within a manufacturing environment. The role is based in Wales and salary will range from £21k-£29k.
