Job Description
HR Advisor – 0.6 FTE - £30K pro rata – Shrewsbury
Our client are now looking to appoint an experienced and preferably qualified HR Advisor in a part time role at a recently acquired site in the Shrewsbury area.
Looking after around 160 staff and reporting into an off site HRM, this will be a stand alone role responsible for all HR with a dotted line to the senior manager on site.
Thus role will be a mix of operation, strategic and administrative HR and will include helped to organise all HR filed to ensure they meet the standard required within this industry sector, all ER issues to include disciplinaries and grievance, policy work, advice and guidance to manager on all HR issues and queries, recruitment, review the staff handbook, sickness/absence, and also HR project work as directed by the HRM which could include a new HR system in the future.
You will need to be a strong HR generalist with the confidence and ability to operate in a stand alone role. You will need to have excellent HR Admin skills too as filing/compliance is an important aspect.
Ideally fully or part CIPD qualified our client can be flexible around hour and can look at 3 full days or 0.6 hours spread over 4 or 5 days. You will be required to travel to the Group HO in the East Midlands once a month.
The 2 stage interview process will include a first stage on 1st March followed by a 2nd on 4th March
